District budget Validation Meeting: The District Budget Validation Meeting will be held at the Searsport District High School /Middle School Cafetorium on May 27, 2008 at 6:30PM. The Budget Validation Meeting is for the public (registered voters in our three communities) to approve a district budget, either the one recommended by the MSAD#56 Board of Directors or as amended at the meeting. Lisa Newcomb, Dance Workshops: Lisa Newcomb will be at SES for the day on June 3rd to demonstrate dance and movement. A special thanks to PIE for funding this activity.


Milkweed Puppets: The Milkweed Puppets will be here at SES on June 10th to do two performances, one for grades K-2 and another for grades 3-5.  Again, a special thank you to PIE for funding this activity.


Moose Point Day: 5th grade students will be going to Moose Point for the day on June 4th.The rain date for Moose Point will be June 11th.



Move Up Day:  Move Up Day for the 5th grades will be June 13th.




Reminder: June 13th will be a full day of school for students.
 



School Barbecue: The school barbecue will be held on June 17th, weather permitting.  June 18th will be the rain date.




5th Grade Celebration:   The 5th Grade Celebration will be held on June 19th at 1:20PM in the Searsport Elementary School Cafetorium. 5th Grade parents are invited to attend.




Last Day of School: June 20th will be the last day of school for students. As in the past, students will be dismissed at 12:00 on that last day.
